SANS On Demand really helps to supercharge my learning, simply by being there for me at rather inconvenient times. If I'm standing in line, driving in my car, or am I waiting for an event to happen, I can turn on my On Demand App. If im not understanding the material there, no problem... I can just bookmark it, so I know where to revisit when I can give it greater attention. The flexibility that the SANS OnDeman App provides has highly contributed to my success in my career development!

Edit: the app seems to have been updated after my bad experience (below). Downloads work now! I do still get kicked back to the login screen when I start the app. I agree that this app is not a good reflection on the otherwise superb SANS Institute. Awful streaming speeds with buffering every couple of seconds, and download option never runs to completion (never really gets started, as far as I can tell). Too bad, would be great to have my videos on the go for flights and things.

The new update fixed a lot of issues, but the screen orientation is still a problem. Laying my phone flat when I want it in full screen, puts it back to portrait even after I click full screen.

Not a review of the courses, but the app. Taking a SANS on demand course and having this app really helped. I pre-downloaded the content on Wi-Fi, then could go for a walk or to the gym and listen without needing to have the screen on. Very helpful!

App no longer loads my course videos, just a constant loading screen. Before I used the app to listen while on long drives now I cannot. This has happened before but it fixed itself. This time I had to completely remove the application, reinstall, and log in to get it to work.

This app is absolutely terrible. The older version (2022) of this app was really good. I'm not sure what happened but this version of the app is literally unusable. The issues are so bad that none of the modules will load. These courses are so incredibly expensive and SANS is unable to provide a usable app. If you're going pay $9k for a cert and expect to have a usable mobile app, you may want to look elsewhere.
