Santorini is a stellar game and this is a stellar app implementation of it. Yes, it costs money, but it is so so so worth it. The graphics are beautiful, the AI has many different levels of difficulty, the Odyssey mode (single-player campaign matches against AI) is great. I can't say enough good things. I will say, if you're looking to play online against other human opponents, Board Game Arena has become the best way to do that. But this app is still the absolute best way to play an AI.

This is an infuriating game. The story mode forces you to play against gods with fully broken abilities. The game board is very small, meaning the pieces have nowhere to go. Certain abilities, like being able to block your opponents from building, effectively make it impossible to complete a legal move. It's not fun. The idea is cool, and the artwork and execution of the app are great. It just ultimately does nothing to mitigate a game with badly designed abilities that ruin the experience.

No ability to play without God powers. I'm new to the game and want to play a simple game against the computer without God powers. This app is not suitable for a complete beginner as Odyssey is too difficult. I've now given up playing as it is too frustrating! Please enable simple play so I can learn. Also, I tried to start a match with a friend using the same code, but we kept getting error messages. Tried again today and same thing. I really give up on this whole experience. A waste of money.
