SatAlign: Satellite Finder

SatAlign: Satellite Finder

SatAlign is a satellite dish alignment tool that helps you point your dish in the right direction with clear, step-by-step guidance.

Find a satellite, calculate the required alignment values, and follow the setup flow for direction, elevation and LNB skew.

FEATURES

• Search 60+ common satellites

Find satellites by name or orbital position, such as Astra, Hot Bird, Nilesat, 19.2°E or 7°W.

• Calculate dish alignment values

Get the calculated azimuth, elevation and LNB skew for your selected satellite and location.

• Guided direction alignment

Use compass guidance to understand whether to turn left or right and how far to move.

• Compass confidence

SatAlign shows whether the current heading is reliable, reduced or unavailable. When accuracy is low, the app explains how to improve it.

• Dish elevation guidance

Follow a visual side-view guide to set the dish elevation instead of relying only on a number.

• LNB skew guidance

See the required LNB rotation and whether it should turn clockwise or counter-clockwise.

• Camera line-of-sight check

Use the camera view to inspect the calculated direction for possible trees, buildings or other obstructions. SatAlign does not detect satellites or radio signals.

• Manual location entry

If location access is unavailable, enter your location manually.

• Favorites and recent satellites

Save frequently used satellites for quicker access.

Important Information

SatAlign performs geometric alignment calculations on your device. It does not detect satellite RF signals or guarantee signal quality.

After physically aligning the dish, use your satellite receiver or signal meter for final signal-quality tuning.

The Android version is supported by advertising. Some guidance and sensor features depend on your device hardware.
