SMART DEFINITIONS Tap any word for a definition. This is more than just an automated lookup. Satori Reader shows the actual sense of each word as it's being used in the sentence. I have never left a review on a product in my life, but this one is good enough for me to break my record. This is the best app I have encountered for intermediate-level Japanese learning, the stories are perfectly designed to introduce you to grammar & vocabulary and reinforce them. The explanations are clear and natural and so easy to understand. My understanding of the language is skyrocketing. This app is a miracle.

This is hands down the best app I've run into for learning Japanese grammar. The team are so helpful and write great explanatory comments in the discussions, write helpful blog posts, and write stories suited for each reading level. Its engaging and much more fun to learn through reading stories than repeating guidebook phrases and nauseam. That too has its place -- don't get me wrong! But if you want to learn *grammar*, Satori is the way to go.

What's the point of this? I wanted an app to practice reading, but all I saw was it reading to me. I don't need listening practice, I need reading and vocab practice. Should be called Satori listener.
