Calls work out of the box on OnePlus 6 running Android 10. GPRS requires that you configure your phone to use device MAC instead of random MAC in settings for the Wi-Fi network on smartphone. Failing to do so results in "Service option not supported" and failure to connect to GPRS. The app also still works with Android application-level firewalls such as Net Guard. This allows you to save on data costs.

I have been using this for almost three years on my Samsung S20, and Poco X4. It connects to the Wi-Fi signal of the Sat sleeve hot-spot in a few seconds. For the sake of clarity this can not morph an ordinary cellphone into a free Sitcom device (if only!), but it enables you to place the Sitcom hot-spot in good Thuraya coverage, and use the connected cellphone inside the building within Wi-Fi range. Wonderful app, device, and Sitcom network, but as all sat networks, calls & SMS are expensive.

Does not work with the most recent android iteration. The firmware for the sat sleeve needs updating. Company support was no help at all. Do not purchase a Thuraya sat sleeve device if your android phone has the latest updates.

Can't make call on Android 10 device. I can receive sms, request balance, but can't make a call. On Android 9 all works fine. Please update app ASAP.

Doesn't work with Google Pixel 2 XL running Android 8.1.0. The app keep rebooting.

It's useful to hava a sat phone on hand but no support for huawei phones ? Hare to accept. Huawei has sold 200 millions android phones as of end of 2018. Please consider including huawei in the compatible device list

While the app appears to work on Galaxy S4 running Android 5 only Emergency calls are allowed and no access to GMPRS services given. Not sure if this is an app problem or satellite access problem. Any suggestions pls? I am wanting to head out to sea for blue water sailing and need Thuraya Hotspot to work ASAP.
