★★★★★ I bought the lifetime version and don't regret it. It's so easy to experiment with different chords, qualities and voicing and then save something into a progression to work on later. The circle of fifths views along with the keyboard and fretboard views are particularly useful in bridging the gap between the theory and practice. It's good for training your ears too. It really cemented a lot of things for me.

The chord dictionary and scale finder are so easy to use, and the chord progression builder helps me quickly sketch out song ideas. If you're looking for a comprehensive music theory app that's actually fun to use, look no further!

★★☆☆☆ Too Complicated! All I wanted to do is get it to play some progressions, so I can practice improvisation along with it. Now I have to spend hours studying how to navigate this maze of technology that was clearly over-thought. I request a refund.

★★☆☆☆ How come EVERY TIME I switched the guitar sound. The sound for the guitar stops working entirely.

★★☆☆☆ Can't save unless you pay monthly. Edit: Response to auto script immediate reply from developer (which is concerning in itself, I guess the same complaints come up a lot.) A basic function shouldn't be locked for a premium especially with a monthly option, otherwise I would consider. I won't use the app and will find another, you can keep benefiting off of people that will, so be on your way like I will on mine. Have a nice day.
