Read supported check-engine codes in plain language, preserve the failure scene, and see the cheapest useful test to run next. ScanWrench keeps vehicle evidence, possible causes, unknowns, and repair verification separate so one code does not become an automatic parts verdict.

• Read supported current, pending, and permanent OBD2 codes
• Capture available freeze frame, readiness monitors, protocol, voltage, and live-data context
• Keep unavailable modules and unsupported functions labeled not checked

SEE THE EVIDENCE
ScanWrench records what the vehicle and adapter actually returned, including code status, reporting system, connection path, and evidence gaps. A ScanReceipt helps preserve the session for a second opinion or before-and-after comparison.

CHOOSE THE NEXT USEFUL TEST

BRING A COMPATIBLE ADAPTER
ScanWrench works with compatible customer-supplied OBD2 adapters. On Android, the app can evaluate BLE, Wi-Fi, and supported Bluetooth Classic candidates. Exact support depends on the phone, adapter, firmware, transport, vehicle, module, and requested function.

CONTROL YOUR DATA
Use ScanWrench without a required account. Choose Device Only for supported local records or Save Nothing to discard the session. Optional account features are separated from the device-local scan path.
