Description by Mobilia Apps Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
SchengenDays is an independent app made by Mobilia Apps. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the European Union, the European Commission, Frontex, the UK Home Office, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services or any other government entity, and it does not represent a government entity.
Log each trip once and see exactly where you stand under the Schengen 90/180 rule. Days used, days remaining, the earliest date you could safely re-enter, and the longest trip you could take from any date you pick. Everything is worked out from your own trip list, on your device, with no account and no internet connection.
The EU Entry/Exit System now records every entry and exit automatically, so an overstay is no longer something a border officer might miss. Counting the rolling window by hand is hard. This app does it for you and shows its working.
KEY FEATURES
• 90/180 counter — days used and days left in the rolling 180-day window, updated as you add trips
• Earliest safe re-entry — the first date you could go back for one more day
• Longest next stay — how many days you could stay if you left on a date you choose
• Trip planner — try a trip before you book it and see what it would do to your count
• Calendar view — a month grid showing the days you spent inside the area and the rolling window's edges
• Trip history — a dated timeline of every stay, with an ongoing-trip mode
• UK and US day counters — days absent in any rolling 12 months for UK settlement, and days present over the 5-year or 3-year look-back for US naturalisation
• Your own rules — a calendar-year day threshold, or any custom "N days in an M-day window" figure you want to track
• Multiple traveller profiles — count for a partner, a child or the whole family
• Travel history export — a dated PDF or CSV of your trip list
• Approaching-limit alerts at 75, 85 and 90 days used
HOW THE DAYS ARE COUNTED
The entry day and the exit day BOTH count as days inside the area. That is the cautious reading, and it is the convention used by the European Commission's own short-stay calculator, linked under OFFICIAL SOURCES below. The app shows it on the main screen. Overlapping or double-entered trips count each day once.
PERFECT FOR
• Post-Brexit UK second-home owners and retirees in France, Spain, Portugal or Italy
• Digital nomads and remote workers on non-EU passports
• Visa-free frequent travellers from the Balkans, Turkiye, Latin America and the Gulf
This app is a day counter. It is not legal or immigration advice and it cannot tell you whether you are permitted to travel. Border officers decide entry, and the official record is the one that counts. It reports days remaining under the rule as you entered your trips.
OFFICIAL SOURCES
This app uses government information from exactly four sources, and all four are listed here in full. Theirs is the copy that counts; check any figure against it before you book or travel.
• Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule, and the entry-day/exit-day counting convention — European Commission short-stay calculator: https://ec.europa.eu/assets/home/visa-calculator/calculator.htm
• Schengen Area member states, and the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) — European Union, Travel to Europe: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/ees_en
• UK settlement absence figure of 180 days in any rolling 12 months — UK Government: https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk
• US naturalisation physical presence — 913 days over 5 years, or 548 days over 3 years as the spouse of a US citizen — USCIS Policy Manual: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-4
No other figure in this app comes from a government body. The calendar-year threshold and the custom "N days in an M-day window" rule are numbers you type in yourself — not published figures, and the app does not present them as government information.
