Easy to use, very helpful. The Schengen rules are a 180-day rolling period. You can stay in the Schengen area for 90 days straight, leave for 90 days, and then come back. However, if you do not stay for a straight 90 days but leave to non-Schengen countries after less than 90 days then this calculator is extremely helpful to determine when you can come back and how long you can stay.

Overall a good app. This app does not allow overlapping dates. We, myself & other frequent travelers, need it to count the day one arrives and departs Schengen as both a day in the departure country and in the destination country. I need to track both the time in my resident EU county AND in other areas of Schengen. Others who are not resident have different reasons for needing to do the same. The app would be perfect for me if this ability was added.

Fairly good app which does the job for helping you work out how many days non EU people have been in the Schengen area. I have just heard that visits to Gibraltar will now count towards the 90 days allowance, so the app will need updating to show that Gibraltar is now in Schengen

Frustrating. I'm trying to use this calendar to PLAN our trip in and out of the Schengen zone. While I'm inputting places and dates (from date a to date b here, from date c to date d in this other country) it will tell me how many days are in that particular trip. When I finish, it saves the information and tells me I've used 0 days so far (because the trip hasn't started yet). Not much help. I need something that will tell me the totals SO THAT I CAN PLAN and thus avoid problems.

I liked the app until I noticed that there is a clear problem with the calculation. It seems to be adding back days in random lump sums that don't match the 180-day rolling window. One example is that I have 6 days available on the 28th September and on the 29th September I magically have 21 days available. And the most confusing part is that there isn't a trip if I go back 180 days before those dates. I'm not sure I can trust the calculations here.

This doesn't work correctly. Following the miss conception you can only be in Schengen for 90 days in a fixed 180 day and the clock only resets after 180,which is NOT true. You can only do 90 days in a ROLLING 180 days ie I put in the app 31 days in Cyprus on the 1st Aug it says I have 59 days left, which is true but as I leave Schengen on 31st July I then get days bk so on the 2nd Aug you will have 60 days and on the 3rd 61 days. The app doesn't reset until 180 days later which is wrong.
