Comments on Screen Alive Elite: screen on for Android

This is the only working solution that I've found for keeping the screen on during calls! I was already using it for things like keeping the screen on during drive through and similar situations, and it worked great. However, I also needed the screen on during calls because my phone kept turning the screen off even when using the loudspeaker or with headphones. So after working a bit with it, I realized you have to have the overlay on during the calls, which I hadn't been doing, and it works!!

After I'm use screen alive app for one year. I'm decided to buy screen alive elite. I'm very satisfied. App deserve support.

Trying out the advanced version. What I really need is that the screen alive works when the phone is plugged in. And then when I unplug the phone the screen alive is off and then the normal screen timeout returns. The use case would be broadly popular - if one is working and wants various timeouts, the app is very helpful. But then if one is walking around it's more secure to have the phone auto lock. I think it's likely this is an easy enough feature to add. I look forward to your feedback.

Simply doesn't work. I got the paid version too. Maybe get 10 min with screen on before it dims, then closes.

No response from the team after I messaged them a very aggravating issue where screen timeout does not reapply after turning off the stay alive function. If they don't care to respond to premium subscribers then I won't be using the app or recommending to others.

No matter how you set up the app it doesn't work as advertised with my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5. Very inconsistent.
★★☆☆☆UsedButNotUsedUp· Nov 9, 2024
Either my OS or another app is apparently overriding Screen Alive Elite because no matter what settings I choose the built-in display software takes control rendering Screen Alive ineffective. Wish it wasn't so.
