It is a great app (widget) for phones with hard to press power button. Most important, locking is optional!!! Good for phones with finger print wake. On little problem. If one hides the initial operation instruction and forgets how to access the setting menu, one will need to reinstall the app.

Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!! finally :) Found after trying and buying several others the only app that allows a turn off the screen without locking it. Sure you can let it do so but all others ignore me choosing not to (have it set to 30min after screen off for fast acces during driving) and this one simply works and respects my 30min settings. Locking directly would defeat the purpose when using it in the car (not easy able to get to the powerbutton) and having to use your phone security during driving when turning it back on with your home button. No backlight too!! Maybe it's not locking like the others due to not having it enabled in "settings -> Security -> Device Administrators -> Select "Screen Off FX" to grant it that admin rights to lock? Other app ask to enable that rights directly. Don't know but guess that to be the reason not to lock directly. Just remember that if you enable it to use locking (other then your own screenlock settings) then you will have to deselect it there before you can uninstall it like with any other screenoff app. I won't uninstall it 4 sure. Did work until my s7 upgraded to nougat. Takes a while to turn off now and screen effects don't work. Didn't give app permission because then the fingerprint security to turn screen on doesn't work

Well, it's a good idea. How bout a simple app that turns the screen off, immediately. I don't need a stupid animation. Half the time the screen comes back on. Please, a simple app that turns the screen off but doesn't lock the phone, please!

SGS4 - Lollipop, USELESS APP, and too many Apps are BAD for any PHONE!! I DON'T SAY, THAT IT IS MADE BAD, just useless - this things I have in Settings, without to install more Apps...I need to click once, precisely :WiFi out! And Lollipop had built-in Screen freeze Support - SO SIMPLY.
