FAQ: 1) Why do screenshots and recordings work on my lock screen or notifications despite enabled hacker protection? In Android 8.0+, screenshots and recordings can't be blocked on the lock screen, notifications, notification drawer, or on-screen buttons at the bottom.
2) I can still record the screen. Is my hacker protection not working? - Although you can record your display, the recordings are blackened.
3) Why can notifications be recorded although the rest is black? + In Android 8.0+, only the main screen can be blocked in screenshots & blackened in recordings due to a security restrictions.
4) How can I see that it works? If the hacker protection is active, attempt to take a screenshot. If Android notifies you that screenshots are restricted, the hacker protection is working, and spyware is hindered!
5) Does the whitelist block apps from recording/screenshots, OR does it allow the particular app added to the list to be recorded/screenshoted? That the particular app added to the list can be recorded or screenshot.
6) I only want to protect some apps. How can I do this to not add all apps to the whitelist? Go to Trusted Apps → Tap the three dots (top right) → Set Trusted Apps Mode to Blacklist. In this mode, screenshots and recordings are allowed for all apps except those on the blacklist, which remain hacker protected.
7) Why can't Google Play/Services be blocked? To be compliant with Google Play policies, apps must not interact negatively with their apps. For this reason, both services must be unblocked by default.
8) I have app/device issues with the protection enabled Some apps have issues when a protective layer is drawn onto the screen. These apps don't interact on user touches. We recommend disabling protection for them or adding them to the whitelist.
Note: The app runs locally on your device to protect your data locally from screen capture malware. It does not block screenshots or recordings of you made on other devices (e.g. in video calls).

Paid top price on premium features. App is exactly what I was looking for. Only one I could find. The bottom on-screen buttons area (recent apps, home, back) are not blocked - I presume this is a limitation like notification area? I would add in app description that Google Play and Services can't be whitelisted. Another issue, recent apps reveals screen for few seconds after pressing recent from a whitelisted app. Overall, a great app. I can use this to stream games on Discord safer.

Worked great until my hackers paid to put my emails on the white list, and I can't take them off for whatever reason. Please change this!! Unacceptable!!
