Scrobblr makes use of the microphone of your Android smart phone to identify music and scrobble it to Last.fm. This Last.fm scrobbler can be used with any source that is loud enough. Whether in the car, while traveling or at a party - Scrobblr scrobbles everything.
With this Last.fm scrobbler you can finally also scrobble radio or television stations or from vinyl and fill your Last.fm profile with the played songs.
This scrobbler for Last.fm uses the Gracenote™ music identification service requiring an Internet connection. Scrobblr also works when there is no Internet connection available or the mobile data usage in the settings of Scrobblr are disabled to save network traffic, Scrobblr simply stores the fingerprints on your device in order to send them to Last.fm later. Even a long vacation abroad is not a problem.
Scrobblr is also very economical with battery power, it can be disabled at any time and disables itself automatically when no music was played for some time.

Works quite well, I like it Good idea, worked out well. I use it to scrobble songs in DJ mixes instead of scrobbling 2 hours of music as one 'song'. Detects the right song most of the times but sometimes has some difficulties finding the right version (remixes, remakes, etc.) but that is a gracenote problem I think. However, sometimes it scrobbles a song multiple times. I think this only happens when it thinks the song is already playing longer than it actually was. This causes it to listen for the next track too early, detecting the same song again. Happens quite much to me. Furthermore I would really like it to listen every once in a while (every 15 minutes?) if music is playing and if so, enable itself. I understand not everyone would like this because it drains battery, but I would enable it if it was included as an option in settings. It would always scrobble everything I listen to without me having to enable it manually :D

It was wonderful, doesn't work anymore I LOVED this app! Loved it. But now Now it tells me about errors from Gracenote 100% all the time and that I should ckeck my connection. My conection is fine, it's Scrobblr who can't connect to Gracenote. PLEASE fix it!

This app is a joke If I wanted shazam, I'd get shazam. A scrobbler would already know what the song is.
