Accessibility Service Usage

ScrollFree uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect when supported apps (such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat) display short-form video feeds like Shorts or Reels.

This allows ScrollFree to:

• Detect when a short-form video feed appears
• Block or hide these feeds inside supported apps
• Prevent blocked apps from opening during scheduled blocking sessions

The Accessibility Service is only used locally on your device to provide these blocking features.

ScrollFree does NOT:

• collect personal data
• record keystrokes
• read messages or private content
• capture screen content
• share any information with third parties

Accessibility access is optional and must be manually enabled by the user in Android settings.
The service runs only when supported apps are open in order to enforce the blocking rules selected by the user.
