Scrum Up

Scrum Up is one in a series of edutainment apps designed for Android phones and tablets. This app provides full immersion into the Agile Scrum process through 4 comprehensive learning sessions.

Scrum Up presents coursework defined from a holistic Agile Scrum perspective. All aspects are covered in a detailed manner, complemented by illustrations.
After your immersion, you will have the skills needed to ‘hit the ground running’ as an Agile Scrum practitioner, in any assigned project.

Perspective
Scrum Up takes you through the Agile Scrum Framework, its concepts, tools, techniques, and the Agile Manifesto. The app moves you through 4 sessions in a logical manner, providing a meaningful learning experience.
Coursework includes presentations, lessons, quizzes, a burn-down simulation, a crossword puzzle, process flows, and finally, a course summary.

Main Page
The main page opens with the Course Summary displayed. Tap [CONTENT] to review a full listing of topic descriptions. After reviewing the content list, tap [GO SCRUM] to open and complete the first session, then continue on to the next session.

Session Pages
There are 4 sessions with 5 coursework assignments under each session. You may complete the assignments in any order. Tap the corresponding WORK button to the left of each coursework to start the activity.
At the end of each assignment, you are redirected to the respective session page. The coursework is updated to reflect the status, which is changed to DONE and the [WORK] button disabled.
All session assignments should be done before moving on to the next session.
After completing a session, you submit your score by tapping [TAP HERE TO UPDATE SCORE].

Scrum Presentations
After reading each discussion under a presentation, tap [VIEWED], then tap [NEXT PAGE] to move to the next topic. At the end of the presentation, you will be redirected to the coursework session page.

Scrum Lessons
Four (4) engaging lessons are delivered during the course. Simple cartoon characters complement the lessons, to add a touch of levity to the experience. You may hide or show the images, in portrait mode, at any time. Read each topic, then tap [VIEWED], [NEXT PAGE] to move to the next discussion in the lesson.

Process Model and SIPOC
Session 4 presents the SIPOC and Process Model discussions. The topics have detailed illustrations of the processes, which help to provide additional clarity to the subject.
After review of each topic, tap [NEXT PAGE] to move to the next discussion.

Scrum Process Flow and Timeline
This coursework provides discussions and illustrations of the 5 distinct segments of the Agile Scrum process flow, and a color-coded chart of its timeline and participants.

Scrum Quizzes
7 Quizsets are presented with 6 multiple-choice quizzes under each. As you move through all 6 quizzes to complete the assignment, your score is updated in real-time and displayed on the page.

Scrum Game and Simulation
Instructions for the crossword puzzle and the Burn-down simulation, are provided on their respective coursework pages.

Wrap-Up
After all (5) coursework assignments in a session have been completed, should you wish to repeat the session, you may tap [REPLAY SESSION, IF DESIRED] to clear the coursework statuses. You will be redirected to the Main page, giving you the chance to repeat the session.
