Unable to use as it will not allow me to set myself up as an observer saying that my email address is invalid

Thought this was excellent app while using on my old phone, I upgraded my phone and all my sightings I had recorded are not transferred with the app, they all stay on the old phone. Accounts needed so you can re launch on a new phone and keep data already collected. The data is useful to the observer to see where seen in the past. Also, there is no way to edit sightings if you make an error while inputting data once back with Wi-Fi.
