Love this app, even has "erase free space" functional in free version. Between some kinky parts of the web and the knowledge that many browsers preload some pages of search engine hits, there simply is no way to know what is recoverable from your free space without either recovering it which takes eons or shredding it. If regular free space cleaning is not a security / privacy best practice, it should be. 6 stats if It was possible, this application is perfection in its category

The app seemed fine until I ran a pass on free space. Took 2 minutes to get to 90%, then the percentage would keep going BACKWARDS, and it took almost 20 minutes to get from 90% to 100%

DO NOT PURCHASE License UPGRADE IF YOU DON'T HAVE/WANT To GOOGLE SERVICES INSTALLED The app depends on Google Play Services for internet permission, which is required to log into your MyProtectStar account to activate the license purchase. Staff are prompt to reply when having issues with the app. When you request a refund however, they won't return any communication. You can download the apk from their website, so makes no sense to have the dependency on play services. You should already be logged in/license activated after adding the license to your account and proceeding to download the apk.

***WARNING TO THOSE NOT TECH SAVVY*** I did not understand how this app operated. I got it because I wanted to make sure medical and banking PDF files deleted were unrecoverable. Sadly, the option I picked DELETED EVERYTHING I didn't want deleted. It deleted ALL of my photos and photo albums. It DELETED all my ringtones and notifications. Sadly, it DELETED all of my archived voice messages from my elderly mother that were sentimental to me. All unrecoverable. ***USE CAUTION***
