A QR code can hide any link. Secure QR Scanner shows you what a code contains before anything opens, so you decide whether to visit it.

Most QR scam stories start the same way: someone scans a code on a parking meter, a restaurant table or a flyer, and a page opens before they have had a chance to look. Some scanner apps even put ads next to the result that look like an "Open" button. Secure QR Scanner is built the other way around.

SEE THE LINK BEFORE IT OPENS
Every scan starts with a link preview.
• Links never open automatically. You see the scanned content first and tap "Open Link" yourself.
• Read the web address before you visit it. Look for misspelled names, odd endings or unexpected sites, the checks consumer-protection agencies recommend for parking and payment QR codes.
• No ads on the scan screen or on the scan result screen, so there is nothing to mistake for the real button.

A SAFE QR SCANNER THAT WORKS OFFLINE
• QR codes and barcodes are decoded on your phone, so scanning works without an internet connection.
• The app uses the internet only for ads and analytics, not to read your codes.
• Your scan history is kept on your device in the Library.
