★★★★★ Great Great app to calculate cutting angle for all segmented woodworking needs

★★★★★ Needs more It only calculates the staves for a straight-walled vessel; would be much better if it could give you the compound angles needed for different diameter tops and bottoms (like for a flower pot).

★★★★★ Does one thing and does it well. This is a simple tool without lots of bells and whistles. It performs its task quickly, accurately, and with ease.

★★☆☆☆ Needs work Miters NOT accurate.

★★☆☆☆ Does not calculate for your ring width. So you will need to calculate that yourself. Or you may end up making each layer too narrow for a final ring width. Only calculate wood width, not the ring width. Which means your guessing on the final turned ring width. Would give it 5 star if this gave a ring width calculation. Who ever made this must have never used a wood lathe.
