Seld

Seld turns the phones your group already carries into a tour guide audio system. You speak once; everyone hears you — with no radio rental, no shouting, and no internet connection.

🔊 LIVE VOICE TO THE WHOLE GROUP
• Speak once, everyone hears it in real time
• Clear, low-latency audio built for noisy places
• Pause, resume and mute with one tap

📴 WORKS WITH NO INTERNET
• Offline mode: your group joins a local Wi-Fi network — a phone hotspot or the venue's own Wi-Fi. Nothing leaves the building.
• Online mode: share a 4-digit room code and people join from anywhere

👀 SEE WHO IS STRUGGLING, BEFORE THEY DROP
• Each listener reports their connection, so a weak signal shows up while you can still do something about it
• Someone who loses connection stays on your list instead of just vanishing
• With their permission, see where they were last and how far away that is — for the moment somebody wanders off

💬 QUESTIONS WITHOUT INTERRUPTING
• Group chat for questions, addresses, photos and map links
• Two-way voice: a traveller can ask to speak with one tap
• Live polls when you want the group to decide together

🌍 SEVEN LANGUAGES
• English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Arabic
• Follows your device language, switchable in the app

📲 SET UP IN UNDER A MINUTE
• Guides: one tap to start broadcasting
• Travellers: scan a QR code or type the room code
• No account needed to listen

👥 BUILT FOR
✓ Walking tours and city sightseeing
✓ Museums and galleries
✓ School and university field trips
✓ Bus and coach tours
✓ Factory and site visits
✓ Conferences and simultaneous interpreting
✓ Pilgrimages and large group coordination

🔒 PRIVACY
• Offline sessions stay on the local network — audio never reaches a server
• Location sharing is off by default and each traveller turns it on themselves
• Room codes and host approval control who gets in

GROUP SIZE
A phone hotspot comfortably carries a small group. For larger tours, connect everyone to the venue's Wi-Fi — it still needs no internet, and it is what lets a big group listen at once.

REQUIREMENTS
Android 8.0 or later. Offline mode needs Wi-Fi; no mobile data required.

Seld is free to use. A Pro upgrade raises the participant limit and adds host controls.

Recent changes:
• Invite friends: share your invite code, and when a friend signs up with it you both get a month of Seld Pro.
