Great HR and HRV monitor! I've looked at a lot of different apps to help measure heart rate and heart rate variability while both working out and at rest. While it's hard to compete with apps like Endomondo and My Tracks for outdoor exercise, Senseview is far and away the best monitor I've found for monitoring during indoor exercise, at-rest HR and HRV, and controlled breathing HR and HRV. I can really only think of two possible improvements. The first is support for Bluetooth 4/Bluetooth Low Energy, and as of this review they say they are working on it. The other improvement would be a kind of a histogram for HRV, so that you can more easily see your heart rate variability coherence -- it would be nice to have a curve showing how many heartbeats were close to the optimal R-to-R, rather than just having a plot line of instantaneous R-to-Rs. Overall, great job, and I'm really looking forward to BLE compatibility! Thanks for a great app!

Great tracker I just wanted an app that will track my heart rate without any workout related frills. This app does that. I can have it record output from my monitor and view a graph from a session. Nice, simple, to the point which makes it a great help.

First, this is very good compared to other HRV apps, but it doesn't pick up most Samsung GS4 sensors, or remember profiles. ALSO, a critical feature for me is buggy. The history is not stored on a file, rather it is in volatile memory until you manually save it. If the app gathered too much data, the app crashes, and ALL history is lost. So, I need to keep looking, because this function is critical for me. Update 1: if you save data again, then erases all old log files. Update 2. Must re-connect to the BLE HRM every time you restart the app, regarless of what happens in between,....and you must do this through a multi-step process. ....having a profile save option may help. Because so many other developers have issues too: +1 star for effort Update 2: I really want this program to work, so I keep experimenting with it. This is only because it shows the variability on a live graph. That's the only advantage this program has over any others (although needs a lot of work) Exporting is miserable, and the checkbox logic is inverted. Back to 1 star

No support for some Samsung Galaxy S5 sensors The Ambient and Device temperature sensors doesn't show any data as well as relative humidity sensor. The rest seems to work great

This app does not work with the fitbit surge and Samsung note 4 I recently bought the fitbit surge and want to display my heart rate reading via the senseview app on my Samsung note 4. However, I have simce found out that the surge is not compatible with this app. Are there plans to provide compatibility?
