Description
Server Status is an app that gets information from Minecraft servers. With only a user-supplied server address (no mods or plugins!), this app can retrieve the number of players, message of the day, a sample of online players (for 1.7 servers that have this feature enabled), network latency (predicted lag), and more! Server Status is also able to list Minecraft Pocket Edition servers on the local (wireless) network.
Widgets and notifications are supported as well, making it even easier to check your favorite Minecraft server! Notifications can be set to trigger when a server is down or has a certain number of players, and widgets can show the number of players online for any number of servers you choose.

love this app, wish it had a couple extra things the app works fine for me (using default ports). the only thing that bugs me is that it still sends notifications if i'm on the server. If there could be a place in the app to put your minecraft name so it turns off notifications while you're in-game that'd be really cool.

Doing its job since 2010 This app is great at doing exactly what it is advertised to do - check the status of your server. I think the fact that you can view the ping and names of online players are bonuses, and I don't expect any more features. The widget and notifications are also very handy too. I have used this app with everything from the 1.7.3 beta right up to the 1.7.10 release. It works with all the modded servers I have ever tried too (Bukkit, Forge, Spout, KCauldron).
