I almost never buy apps on my Android. I think I've bought 3 apps in 11 years. This app is one of them. Definitely worth the money. This app makes sharing files on your phone instant and easy. You can instantly put up just about any kind of Linux server software stack with a couple taps. Having root makes things easier and gives you a very powerful any-server right in your pocket. You can use this to share your internet or create an SSH server, boot a failed computer with PXE, host a website etc.

The techie's Swiss Army knife! I love being able to access my phone's internal storage over a secure FTP connection, and being able to provide live demos for clients on their own systems without having to lug my laptop around! Even though my phone isn't rooted, the HTTP and FTP servers work fine for me, as do the TLS/SSL and login options associated with those servers. I use it almost every day, so it's definitely been well worth the purchase!

Limited even paying for PRO. The additional packs that need installing to support various servers are not compatible with the latest Android.

Great idea, brittle implementation. I installed it on a Samsung Galaxy S21+ and quickly abandoned it. I set up both WebDAV and ftp servers, but both crashed when transferring the same directory of 870 very small files. The log files only contain information about successful app events but not a peep on why they crashed, making troubleshooting impossible; you’d need to use an interactive debugger. I bought the app because I liked the idea and meant to reward the developers, but I really was interested only in the SMB server. Ironically, no power on this planet could get it to run, it starts and stops immediately, and once again, no clue in the log file. Sadly, the app doesn’t work reliably, for ME at least, running on the above hardware. As soon as I find some time I’ll try uninstalling it and then install only the pack that contains the SMB server. If things should improve I will update this.
