My phones rooted. I've granted root permission. Still many apps like Instagram, Telegram, etc. gives notifications even when they are restricted from running in the background.

It's a good idea in general. It also lowered my idle drain. But it has a very big problem: In the app, you freeze services. I didn't touch those. There's a list of all apps, services and broadcasts that you changed the behavior of, and in my list of services, there now were entries. Because I wanted to uninstall the app, I tried deleting all entries, but with some, the app just crashed, and the entries were still there. Now, after uninstalling, I constantly get "x has stopped working". This is bad
