This is a great alternative to bio-based file ops. I used this to move a large set of files from my phone to a hard drive via a linux desktop. Before I used jmtpfs to interface with phone storage, but this was unbearably slow. This app worked out of the box and managed to move the files in a fraction of the time and wirelessly! The interface too is very clean and helpful. 5 out of 5 stars, great job!

Worked securely and perfectly, and I saved my 17 Bytes of phone photos and videos at 4 MBytes per second to my Linux PC using sftp command line. Read the comprehensive help provided, set your own unique password, mount your photo drive, use the MAIL feature to mail yourself all the example sftp command lines.

Use this and FileZilla ftp client, and you're set! Your smartphone does NOT need to be rooted to access files stored on the Micro SD card! Instead of needing to connect your smartphone to your computer via USB cable to access files stored on the Micro SD card, use this and a ftp client that supports secure ftp (sftp). With my smartphone connected to my Wi-Fi router via 5GHz, I've gotten file transfer speeds of 200+ Mb/sec! (2.4GHz will likely be slower.) (Use 5GHz or wired for PC.)
★★☆☆☆
Didn't work on Moto g7. Connection refused on ports tried with app. Tried connecting with Win SCP on the port app started with and also changed to port 1022. Unchecked box in winscp to fall back to scp transfer.
★★☆☆☆
I like the small size, but I cannot find the option the app talks about to change the username. I can change port and password only. Using latest version of Android on Galaxy s22 Ultra
