See an interesting animal or plant? Share it with us through the SGBioAtlas app! SGBioAtlas is a citizen-science platform for nature lovers to share their biodiversity sightings and uses crowd-sourced information to map the distribution of flora and fauna across Singapore. It is not only simple to use, it is also a fun way to learn more about the amazing diversity of animals and plants in our City in a Garden. Every sighting you record will contribute to our database of precious local biodiversity.
This app is brought to you by the National Parks Board (NParks) as part of the Community in Nature (CIN) initiative. As the lead agency on nature conservation, NParks has developed an urban biodiversity conservation model, which aims to conserve representative eco-systems in land-scarce Singapore. NParks also monitors and coordinates measures to enhance the presence of biodiversity in our urban landscape.

Very cool app! Helps Singaporeans to learn about wildlife in Singapore, apart from the concrete that we see every day. Furthermore, I think it also helps NParks to identify and keep track of what wildlife we have in Singapore? Seems like it? Haha. The app also allow us to locate the sightings all around Singapore. So it's the kind of app whereby its usefulness increase with more users! Why not share it with more people, so we can find whatever wildlife that we are interested to sight for our weekend activities? =P Like otter sightings? Certain species of birds for bird lovers? Yup! And I guess we need to log in in (the only particular they request is simply and only our email!) just like any other app in order to make postings unique and personalized! You will have your personal page just like Instagram and facebook where you can see what you have posted in the past =) Interesting app! Must try!

Update: Auto close of app after tapping on My Sighting. A sad n broken app. Good time-wasting App. Can't change password, no prompt to change password after first login. Cant upload, always prompted something is wrong. Yeah right, that something is the App itself. LOL.

Facebook login does not work since forever. Email account keeps expiring. Basically I cannot even use the app.

Can't download guides and keep crashing. Quite useless for android.
★★☆☆☆
Can't seem to upload my sightings. The intention for this app is good. Wish it could just work for all to use and post their sightings.
