Some devices limit GPU usage to consume less power when not plugged in. Always check the performance with the soft keyboard hidden and the power cord off. A shader should make at least around 30 fps to not slow down the UI if you intend to use it as a live wallpaper.
Unfortunately error information is disabled on some devices (e.g. Huawei Ideos X3, Asus Transformer). Error highlighting/reporting is not possible on these devices.

This rules. I love playing with fragment shaders and this is perfect for messing around with GLSL on-the-go. To others who've just installed: if the constant compile errors and/or shader running in the editor background drive you nuts, set Run Mode to "Run in extra activity" in the app settings. It took me a bit to figure this out, but won't dock a star because the setting is there nonetheless and works fine. 😛 Huge kudos to the app author for creating and maintaining this editor! 👏👏👏

Very fun tool for anyone interested in shader art, convenient buttons and uniforms and good sample shaders. The ability to make the shaders into your background and have them react to touch makes this app truly great. You can even set it up to react to notifications or battery level, since these are all passed as uniforms. My only complaint, you can only turn the shader into the lock screen AND wallpaper, not just one, and there is no uniform for finding out if the phone is locked or not.

Changing the camera permissions unsets the shader as wallpaper. Other than that it's a good app.

I literally have no idea how to use this... there's no description on what this is or how to use it I just needed shades for another app and decided to pick this one cuz it looked promising. When I opened the app I was confused I saw all the words and letter and numbers. Mind you I really don't know how to code. And there's no pictures on the app description sooo. Yea other reviews gave it a 5 star because they knew. I really don't know what to do tbh. It anyone can explain that be great. 🙂...
