While it didn't always do exactly what I wanted and there were a few hiccups here in there. Wholly satisfied with their service, worked better than steam stream from a high-end gaming Pc in the same apartment. Plus they made it easy to cancel. Four stars because they promised longer "unattended" hours (for automating processes while disconnected for instance) than they delivered in the beginning but still good.

New updated review. Long story short, you're on a full-fledged virtual machine. You can use it for anything you could use any Windows machine for. As for gaming, there are a few technical issues you'll likely have to work through, especially on mobile networks. Need a vpn for stable connection. You'll have to know network settings to make it run smoothly. Being it's a vm and Windows 10, there are some drawbacks, but it's not terrible. 4 stars cuz there's still small room for improvement, but not bad.

Been using this service for what feels like years now, there is absolutely nothing that comes close to the level of service you get on Shadow. All other services of this kind either have ridiculous price ceilings or restricted time limits. This however has neither. Looking forward to many more years!

"Listen – it's a devil! They have subscriptions for everything, and yet my virtual desktop still runs slower than a snail on a treadmill. I tried to launch a game, and I'm pretty sure it just streamed a JPEG of the loading screen for three hours." - Also needs to remove subscriptions.

This service just keeps getting worse and worse. A couple of years ago it was great. Now using the upgraded gaming subscription I can't even stay connected when running simple or older games. I have fiber-optic internet with over 1 GBPS, so you can stop trying to blame your customers. The monitoring tool doesn't even function anymore. Don't waste your money. Go to GeForce Now, or NZXT. Shadow PC is nothing but a migraine and a waste of money.

Do you have to pay the subscription just to use and play the games that you really want to play on PC but don't have a PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
