Cygames is a generous company. As an Eleazar Lane player, Cygames is has a similarly generous track record to Azur Lane. It got (pretty unfairly) review bombed at its inception due to Cygames not being very good at promoting the ways it is being generous. Generous freebies, solid gameplay, actually decent balance, top tier art... what more can one ask for?

Honestly, it's a pretty good game. At first, you have complaints then you realize the game pros. And they make you forget the cons. As an old player if Hearthstone, this game is similar but way more generous. A F2P player will be able to build good meta decks easily. Just don't rush. And remember, it's all about luck, you can get all meta cards in the first packs or 100 packs later.

I think it's a great game, the longer you play, the more you win. For people who don't mind losing over and over and looking forward to making interesting decks it's not bad. The biggest downside is that if you don't spend money it can take a while to get a good deck going. Besides, that I think it's a solid game.

Love this game!! Keep at its devs! Longtime shadow verse fan here. The cards look stunning and battles are epic as can be. Card collecting is easy as a light spender or even a free to play user so don't take those one-star reviews seriously. They've just had bad luck with card pack openings. The evolution system is amazing, and I love shadow verse park! Portal craft/Dragon craft main here and am a daily player have been with it since launch and am happy to see the game pass it's first anniversary!

The game is blatantly stingy to its players. First anniversary gives 120 packs, but they split it, so you can't get dupes to sell or build meaningful pity for leaders you want. The anniversary event is a lotto, some players will get lucky and the rest will get nothing. The new player experience is miserable, after you get all the free packs you can't make a good deck because you can't sell cards unless you have more than 3. Just play another CCG, one that lets you build a deck when you start.

Crazy how much worse this is compared to shadow verse, & then they kill that game, so you're forced to play the inferior sequel with a fraction of the cards, half of which are useless, enjoy losing to meta if you don't spend money on cards, cygames is somehow worse than hoyo when it comes to games that aren't gran blue, uma musume, garbage because no pulls, & it's card collecting, characters are useless, neither of these games will survive long term with their monetization

I've played the game since launch and really tried to enjoy it but I just can't. The problem entirely lies on the card design. This game wants to be extremely flashy with big swings that give you a feeling of a back and forth battle but that surface level interaction ultimately leads so the same gameplay loop over and over. Decks feel the same, win cons are the same and there's far too much face and burn damage to deviate from the meta. I can't ever recommend this game.
