It's called the very similar to Addict Player (in fact it looks identical) and is typical media player app, scans device/sd card for audio files and plays them fine. Note doesn't initially appear to install correctly on older iPads/iPad Pro (first gen 9.7" 2016/2017), reboot device, and it does work. No problems on Android (10/11 on OnePlus 7pro, Sony Expedia) or current generation iPad Pro. Believe it's a mobile app only so no Windows/macOS versions.

Is this the best music playing app ever? Having tried all the other (advert free) music players since apps became a thing. Yep, I'm THAT old. Gasp! I value great sound above all else, so if you want flashing lights and junk features, look elsewhere. Well done to all involved. Love it. UPDATE: This has always worked well, but doesn't work with Samsung S22 Ultra. The Addict Player, also from Shan ling does, and it's virtually identical.

While it sounds great, the software needs a lot of work 1) skipping a next track produces an audible click in my IEMs on the M6 2) skipping to next track cuts the intro of the song by a few ms. Songs that supposed to start immediately sounds like it missed a beat, it's inexcusable. 3) fast-forward is TOO FAST when using the M6 physical buttons 4) not able to store more than 1 custom EQ preset 5) playlist feature is bad. The sorting order is hard coded, and you can't customize it.

There's a lot that can be learned from Hi By Music. I have a Shan ling M6 and the UI can get laggy at times. Shan ling lacks the control that Hi By provides with MSEB.
