Honestly the best Character Ai app. The customization for bot creation is insanely good. I SUCCESSFULLY REPLICATE THE CHARACTER THAT I LOVE. Personality, behavior, appearance are spot on. Feels like I'm really talking to that certain character, without BREAKING THE CORE PERSONALITY. My advice is to enable WEB CRAWL for better results and use the engine GEMMA (the basic one) for better role play experience.

Please improve response speed. It takes too long to generate long replies, and it ruins the experience. It’s frustrating and eye-straining to wait. Pros: Memory is better than Character AI. Cons: Still repeats mistakes, and speed is way too slow. This app is often compared to Character AI. I prefer Character AI because replies are fast and short. If you want people to use this for role play, speed needs to be fixed first.

Dumb. I don't get it. This app is super slow, the character selection is poor, conversations are borderline nonsensical. Character chats forever about one topic, no spontaneity at all you constantly have to move the story forward. I like that they let you select from generated responses instead of having to type all the time but generations are super long and usually irrelevant and never move the conversations forward. Good idea, .poor execution. It did seem free so that's a plus

The chatting is good but the characters never act as the character itself, and it ignores what I say, it feels more like chatgpt that a role play chatbot

I'm looking for something better than character.ai, and I'm afraid this is not it. None of the bots write in prose form unless it's a custom bot I made. I hate that thing with italics or * that makes the role play like a script. I like prose, I basically want to feel like it's a fan fiction I'm reading. I also cannot find where to edit my existing bots/shapes. It's got a very cliché and cheesy tone, like for example you can't use an Ace Attorney bot without 'OBJECTION' or 'HOLD IT' being shouted.
