Shardfall: Block Puzzle Worlds

Shardfall is a block puzzle adventure. Crystal shards fall into an arched stone well – fill a row and it breaks into glittering pieces. Every world adds one new rule, and every world ends with a boss who bends that rule.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Shards of 3 and 5 crystals fall into a well 9 columns wide.
• Drag sideways to move, tap to turn, swipe down to drop.
• Every game has a fixed bag of shards: reach the goal before the bag is empty.
• Short games: a round is over in a few minutes, and Retry starts again at once.
• Earn up to 3 stars per game with combos, pure single-colour rows and shards left in the bag.

40 WORLDS, 160 GAMES
Each world has four games: a warm-up that shows the new rule, a task, a hard task and a boss. The rules include wind that pushes your shard, ice that makes it slide, magnets, portals, bombs, tides, a tower that turns upside down, stalactites and many more. Every level is the same for every player, and every level was checked by a solver to make sure it can be beaten.

BOSSES AND POWERS
Beat a boss to win a power – Pocket, Foresight, Anchor, Ember, Lantern and more, 20 in all. Each power helps against the rule of the next world. In the later worlds, the bosses raise your powers to level II. Choose which powers to take into a game: you start with 2 slots and can earn up to 4. Some powers belong together: equip both and they resonate with an extra effect – 10 pairs to find in the Resonance Codex.

ENDLESS AND SEED OF THE DAY
Endless starts with the base rules, adds a rule from a world you have beaten every 20 rows and lets you pick a new power every 30 rows. Beat the final boss to earn the Crown: a 5th power slot in Endless. The seed of the day is the same run for every player, offline. Endless, the seed of the day and the Royal Shard crystals come with All Access or all 9 world packs; one free Endless run is included after World 4.

MORE TO PLAY FOR
• A rule card shows each new rule the first time you meet it, and World 1 teaches the controls step by step. "How to play" in the pause menu shows the card again.
• Star gates: every four worlds, stars unlock a new look for your crystals or the well – never a lock on progress.
• Rematch any boss and win 3 stars with other powers.
• Music for every world and its boss, plus sound effects and vibration – each can be switched off.
• Colour shapes for colour-blind players, large-text support.
