Send photos, videos and files from Android to an iPhone, a PC or another Android — and the iPhone does not have to install anything at all.

ShareDrop is a fast file transfer and file sharing app for Android that turns your phone into a private local server. The iPhone scans a QR code with its own Camera app, your files open in Safari, and that is the whole setup. No account, no cable, no app on their side, and nothing ever travels over the internet.

ShareDrop asks for access to your photos and files so it can show you what to send, and for Wi-Fi and hotspot access so the two devices can find each other. That is all any of it is used for. Your files are never uploaded anywhere and never leave your local connection.
