Shift Work Schedule Planner

Rota Calendar turns your shift schedule into a calendar you can scroll through for years. Enter your start date and your rotation once, then see every shift, rest day and weekend off up to 5 years ahead.

No spreadsheets, no counting weeks on your fingers. Just your work schedule, ready for when you need to book vacation or answer "are you working that weekend?"

Built for real shift rotations
Set any repeating schedule, however awkward:
- 4 on 4 off, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 4 on 3 off
- Panama, Pitman and DuPont style rotations
- 12 hour shifts, days, swing shift and nights
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and longer rotations
- Irregular schedules you adjust week by week

A calendar that scrolls
Most calendars make you flip month by month. Rota Calendar scrolls continuously, so you can see how your shift pattern falls across weeks, months and years without losing your place.

Make it yours
- Create your own shift types with names and colors
- Add custom markers to any day
- Edit a single shift when the schedule changes
- See at a glance which days you are working, resting or off

Your other calendars, side by side
Bring in events from the calendars already on your phone, including Google Calendar, and see them alongside your shifts. Birthdays, appointments and plans in the same view as your work schedule.

Cloud backup and sync
Back up your schedule and shifts, restore them on a new phone, and keep the same calendar across your devices.

Who uses it
Nurses, hospital staff, EMTs and paramedics. Police, fire and dispatch. Oil and gas, offshore and rig workers. Factory, plant and warehouse staff. Truck drivers, rail and transit crews. Security, hospitality and retail teams. Pilots and flight attendants. Anyone whose work schedule repeats, rotates, or refuses to sit neatly in a normal calendar.

Free and premium
Core features are free to use. A Pro subscription unlocks 5 years of generated shifts, unlimited shift edits, custom shift markers, and cloud backup and sync.

Made by one independent developer, not a company selling workforce software to your employer. It is built for the person working the shifts.
