Ship Time - Texts From the Sea

You've sublet a flat in Edinburgh for six months from a man you've never met.

Rhys is a marine engineer on a research ship heading for the far end of the world. He can only text when his satellite window opens, a few short minutes at a time, and his flat comes with questions: a boiler called Gerald with opinions, a cat who ignores you, a neighbour who leaves notes, and forty jars on a shelf, every one of them unlabelled.

Forty jars. No labels. One window at a time.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Read it like your own phone. Messages arrive, you choose what she says back.
• The window is the whole game. When the signal bar runs down, he's gone until tomorrow, and whatever you didn't say waits with the rest of your messages.
• Every jar has a story, and he only tells one in exchange for an honest answer.
• Your choices shape how well the two of you know each other by spring, and how at home she feels in a city that isn't hers yet.

A SEASON IN SIX EPISODES
One episode for each month of the sublet, from November to May: bonfire night, a Christmas that competes with his window, four days when the signal goes quiet, a box she shouldn't have opened, and the week the ship comes home.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• A warm, funny, slow-burn story told entirely in texts
• Real Edinburgh, from Leith to Arthur's Seat
• No timers you have to wait out in real life. Play at your own pace
• Free to play, supported by ads
