Eight bells and all's well This shippy little app is for any mariner wants to keep track of time without having to look at a clock or watch. The UI is simple to use and there's a handy table for those who don't remember what ding-ding ding means.

Very good overall... but not perfect the only thing that I find that this app is lacking is a volume adjustment. the volume piggy backs in with Android media volume settings which when you are an avid podcast listener your media volume will be higher. then every half hour this app comes through and sounds its ships bell at a level is much too loud. the quality of the audio sample is superb, I just wish I could keep it under control. another enhancement may be multiple time exclusion entries; eg during the week versus during the weekend.

Very good with one glaring omission This is a great clock and great chimes but has one omission which is the chimes for the last dog watch in afternoon which differ. This would be a great addition and be selectable either on or off.

Drives Some People Nuts As an old mariner, I love having the Ship's Clock app. I love hearing the chime. It reminds me of my old Chelsea ship's clock. However, it drives the land lumbers crazy when it chimes. I have to explain the bell code several times every day.

Stopped chiming It actually was as quirky as the W&P on my boat. Sometimes chimes 7 minutes or so late, sometimes double strikes. Now after 4 months it won't chime. (Yes, I've checked the settings). I've rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled. It was my favorite ships bell app.

Major problem! This app was causing my ringer and or notification tones to randomly mute. I had this app on my last phone and had this problem. Never could find the cause until I installed on my new phone and had the same problem. I began stopping apps until I found when I stopped this one, notifications returned to normal.
