Shoku Labo: Antioxidant Score

Shoku Labo is a meal log built around the antioxidant components in your food — vitamin C, vitamin E, carotenoids and polyphenols.

Take a photo of your meal and the app works out an "antioxidant score" from the amounts of those components in the ingredients it identifies.

Most food apps count what to cut down on. This one counts what is in your meals. Nothing is subtracted; the day only adds up.

3. Save, and the meal is logged with its antioxidant score

- USDA Database for the Flavonoid Content of Selected Foods
- USDA Database for the Isoflavone Content of Selected Foods
- USDA Database for the Proanthocyanidin Content of Selected Foods
- Chlorogenic acid values from published measurements

The antioxidant score is a number Shoku Labo calculates with its own formula from the composition values in those public sources.

Recent changes:
