Does what it says! I've been looking around trying to create a shortcut for New Event and New Reminder. It would be great if this adds supported New Reminder. Indeed, this should be part of the stock Google Calendar Widget. Please write feedback in google calendar to ask for it.

Literally perfect I've been an android user for years and never rated anything before but this app is so perfect I couldn't live with myself if I didn't rate it. It does literally exactly what you want it to do, and nothing else: you press the app icon, and it directly opens the Google Calendar new event window. Why this isn't built in to Google calendar is beyond me. But since it isn't, this is the best alternative by far.

Crashes after selecting a group When returning from the group selection window, it usually crashes without saving, loosing any other information you have saved. This is a frustrating as I use contacts and groups to remember where I met people. Otherwise, great idea to quickly save contacts.

Problems on galaxy s3 The 'new contact' button works just fine but the 'new calendar event' button throws an error: "unfortunately, calendar has stopped." I can't rule out a problem with my phone tho. Any other s3 users having problems?
