Shroomify is an independent field guide for people who want to learn about the fungi around them. Choose a USA or regional US dataset to explore species relevant to your area.
IDENTIFY YOUR WAY
• Work through illustrated characteristics, including cap colour, shape, gills and pores.
• Use a photo to suggest visible characteristics, then check and refine the suggestions yourself. Photo assistance runs on your device and works offline.
• Search by common or scientific name and compare detailed species accounts and similar species.
A GUIDE FOR THE FIELD
• More than 400 species and over 1,000 photographs across the catalogue.
• Descriptions of appearance, habitat, distinguishing features and similar species.
