Side A: Your Cassette

A tape for the ride home. One for a slow Sunday.

Side A brings a familiar cassette to the music you already listen to. Start a song in a compatible music app, open Side A, and watch the reels turn.

MAKE IT YOURS
Write a name and a little note on the label. An inside joke, a date, or simply “the long way home.” It’s your tape.

FIND YOUR COLORS
Choose from eight cassette colors and eight player backgrounds. Pair a clear shell with warm ivory, try something brighter, or settle into smoky charcoal.

WATCH THE TAPE WIND
Choose realistic winding to see the tape move from one reel to the other as the song plays. Prefer two evenly filled reels? Keep it on rotation only.

KEEP LISTENING
See what’s playing and use the playback controls from the cassette view. Your music stays in your connected music app; Side A gives it a different face.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add the Side A widget to keep your cassette and playback controls close by.

GETTING CONNECTED
Side A needs notification access to read track information and control compatible music sessions. Start playback in your music app first, then return to Side A.

Compatibility depends on your music app and device. Side A doesn’t include songs, download music, or import audio files. Saved colors and label preferences stay on your device.
