Ace Edutainment's Sight Words - Basic Dolph Words for 1st grade kids application entertains children well while they pop phonetic letterboxes to spell out predetermined lists of words in order to help a blue spider collect flies in its web while avoiding a dragonfly. The constant and sometimes haphazard movement of the letters enforces the skills of attention span, hand-eye (or in this case, finger-eye) coordination, and reaction time, while the emphasis on spoken and visual word prompts employs phonics to teach young children how to spell out the words. When play-testing through it, I found no bugs (except the cute, colorful ones!), and it functioned as expected and advertised.
