Just work together with Open Whisper Systems! You seem to be very motibated to create a beautifull (background, Emojis, etc) AND secure Messenger, but please don't try to create your own app by coping the code from Signal Messenger. Instead try to develop with Open Whisper Systems to make the original Signal Messenger better ;)

Doesn't work at all; good ideas, longterm no future anyway Says it can't sent messages and offers to update through the play store where the version is already the newest. The potential additional features seem great. But be aware that original Signal authors will probably ban this app from their servers, like all alternative signal apps, at some point anyway! For app diversity switch to XMPP + OMEMO as is or will be implemented in e.g. Conversations, Zom and ChatSecure, all interoperable.

Copycat app This is a copycat app of signal messenger, perhaps wizdom13 has copied some part of the source code. Would not be surprised to learn that it is malicious. Signal messenger is clearly a brilliant app, this is either an attempt to surf that wave or worse, a means of breaching security for those who are security conscious.
