★★★★★ Good app overall, with a critical flaw. Why are phone numbers displayed in private group chats? There should be an option to hide them. This way, a sneaky individual with bad intentions is enough to compromise the security of a group. I had to stop using it temporarily because of this.

★★★★★ Great app, not universally used so most your contacts unlikely to be on signal which is the main problem.

★★★★★ Love the privacy offered by Signal. Full switch from FB. FB not only censors their posts, but they also monitor and censor the "private" messages to private people on their "private" message ing app.

★★★★★ So easy to use. Simple set up. iPhone' users have some extra steps to make it work, and they can't use it to send messages to just anybody only signal users. Android you can use it to send anyone, and it will let you know which ones have the app and which messages are secure. Update: since the update It is totally broken. Just keep saying updating and it will not open. Very sad

★★☆☆☆ Tried to delete the app. Followed the easy-to-follow instructions on the Signal site. At the end of the process, it said "failed - check your connection". My connection is currently 4G! I tried 6 times, checked my phone number was correct each time. They don't want to give my phone number back to me ! It's a scam to look like they have more users than they do. Don't trust them and don't load Signal.

★★☆☆☆ I have supported signal for years now, and I wish I could take it back, the money and the support. This app is gone totally off the rails, and is destined for the garbage heap. Sms support was an integral feature and you truly have nothing left.

★★☆☆☆ I wonder who made this terrible decision. I wonder why. And I wonder if they'd sleep as well at night if there were possible retribution.
