First, I disagree with removing SMS support. The one-star review is because I used your "export" feature, and lost all my messages. You say, "they will be available for any SMS app", however, they're not. I've tested multiple SMS apps and there's also no SMS messages in the local store where the export should have gone.

The video / audio calls mostly work very well, and I love the edit function. But frequently, when I join calls, I have to leave and then join again because the audio volume level is extremely low.

Good app. Needs the option to hide one chat from other users of the app on the same device. The fact that you can install it on a Windows PC and cannot hide a particular chat is a major privacy issue that hopefully will be addressed soon. Thank you

I don't receive notifications on my galaxy watch 7. My phone is always on vibe, I miss all my calls and messages. I receive from WhatsApp and all other apps but signal. Especially when I'm at work I rely on my watch for notifications, but I'm not getting them.

Stuck on the login screen for weeks. Absolute joke. I've been trying to log into my account for weeks, but it constantly says "We are unable to send an SMS to your number. Please try again in several hours." I wait days, try again, and get the exact same error immediately. The funny part? If I use a friend's number, the OTP arrives in 2 seconds. The issue is entirely on Signal's servers blocking or failing to route SMS to my specific number. Fix your backend.

Persistent bugs in the app that show a decline in quality. Opening a conversation from a notification will almost always just open the app in the last conversation I was in, not the one related to the notification. Share Intents are often lost, opening the app in its last state instead of passing in the Intent. Message notifications will often display the wrong icon (one for a different chat). Update: months later and same bugs still there. Disappointing
