SIMPLIFY THE TRACKING PROCESS The advent of mobile smart devices allows us to have tools that before were either non-existent or like the signal trackers collection of papers, maps and marking instruments, unwieldy to carry and use. With SigTrax, manually handling maps, plotting intersection points and determining a route to reach an intersection point is eliminated, simplifying searches resulting in faster and more accurate results.
BEARINGS AND CROSSPOINTS™ Bearings are lines from a starting coordinate toward a compass heading as an indication of the approximate direction of a signal. Bearings can be entered into SigTrax in multiple ways, selectively viewed, edited or deleted. Bearing collections can be archived then retrieved at a later time, vital when tracking signals over long time periods.
Crosspoints, locations where bearing lines intersect, are automatically managed when bearings are added, deleted or edited.
Driving maps complete with text and voice routing instructions direct the user to a Crosspoint location.
EASY TO USE The SigTrax user interface was designed to be simple and easy to use in less than ideal conditions. SigTrax can be customized to individual preferences and needs using the Settings function. A complete User Guide is included for quick reference.
SigTrax+ OPTIONAL FEATURES SigTrax+ optional purchasable features expand the signal tracking toolkit.
SigShare™ allows bearings and archives to be displayed in a large format such as Google Earth, ideal for presentations.
DataTrax™ is a smart interface that automatically inserts and plots bearing generated from external systems such as Doppler. The SigTrax website details DataTrax features and requirement.
TraxTeam™ allows cooperative hunting, a foundation of signal tracking, that greatly extends the possibility of a successful and timely hunt, vital in emergency situations. Multiple trackers form a TraxTeam™ instantaneously sharing bearing information with the hunt group.

I use SIGTRAP to plot compass bearings taken during radio 'fox' hunts. This app is not just the only viable option in the play store, but it works very well. Although I can find my prey by simply following the RF this app aids visualization of UHF reflections and speeds process by eliminating reflections from large buildings (reviewing sat imagery). It could be particularly useful when tracking down rogue transmitters from afar.

This app and a directional antenna and receiver is all you need to find a hidden transmitter. Be sure to read some of the instructions on how to use the bearing key and adjust bearings to 1/10 of 1°

We just won the fox hunt! We just used this app for the transmitter hunt and won! The vectors were great! Everyone was impressed how our tool could show our vectors plotted on a live map. It would be nice to have a breadcrumb trail too with total mileage since the winner of our hunt is determined by distance only. Although we started in manual pointing mode we hope to use the compass mode next time.

So much potential. The gps rotation feature works ok in wide open spaces but not in the city. Unfortunately, the manual rotater is not fine grain enough to make for small adjustments in the bearing line overlay. Additionally, maps are not available offline...so the app is useless if there is no data signal.

The process for creating bearings manually is atrocious. I should be able to center the crosshair and drop one anywhere that I can see. Adjusting the bearing angle must be done 10 degrees at a time. This makes the feature effectively useless. Editing and deleting a bearing already taken is also not possible.
