It's an awesome app to make your kit come more to life. Easy to use at your fingertips as a quick "go-to" instead of having to move around the module all the time. Personally, I enjoy using both methods and enjoy the EQ settings within the app. As you function around the app, you can see the module respond to kits you're building. Getting to know your module first before relying on this app right away will save you a lotta frustration & disappointments. Great job Simmons, you've come along way.

Very Helpful ! As the Drums came with very little instructions ! If it had not been for Kathryn Powell and his Tube Videos, I would have surely thrown $1,000 dollars of electronic drums in the trash can. I cannot tell you how frustrated I was trying to make this kit work, as there are no instructions that make any sense ! The Simmons Drum Apps helped !

Needs a BIG UI overhaul. The app is fine, at first. Helps get your kit going the way it needs to. You can use it to adjust the sound output of each pad which is very helpful. The kick sounds are way too low, the toms have deeper sounds. When you go to adjust parameters it's awful. The UI uses a turn nob like on an amp. The feature might as well not even be included because it doesn't work. So much is missing that is standard everywhere else. Would give a 0 but can't.

Despite being connected to the drum set and having a play along feature, the feature doesn't actually have the drum set put the music through the speakers connected to the set. So I ask: what is the point of this feature, if it's a worse mp3 player than the one that comes with my phone? And yes, as the other reviews have said, the YouTube player doesn't work. What is the point of this app?

100% garbage. The YouTube play along feature always says "playback error". Also, clunky interface, poor quality, doesn't really do anything to improve the set. Too complicated to change perameters on the drum sounds. There's no rim shot sound for the snare rim. Yeah, not good
