12 years later... The original Simple Coin Flip - now completely rewritten using modern Android development practices. Still completely FREE (no-ads) and doesn't require any unsafe permissions. Now includes all 50 USA state quarters!
Simply tap the question mark or shake and view the result. Tap the coin or shake to spin the coin again. Verify the flip algorithm is truly random by running the built-in Diagnostic Test and flipping the coin 100,000 times (or more) while watching the results in real-time. (Sorry, no cheating!)

Exactly the same as before (almost), but completely rewritten using Modern Android Development (MAD) standards. Kotlin, coroutines, MVVM, Material 3 with dynamic colors. You know, all the cool stuff. Can you believe I still have the original code signing key for this app?
Unfortunately, I'm not interested in Android Wear anymore, so no watch support. Sorry, but go buy a G-Shock and you'll be happier.
Oh, and Google finally realized that having an official API for loading resources from any app installed on your phone was not great from a privacy perspective, so no more support for "add-on packs". If you bought the Simple Coin Flip Mega Pack in the past, I appreciate it. This new version has all 50 state quarters included for free.

Perfect little app, love that it tracks your stats. It only needs a couple more stats to be perfect: A current streak for results in a row (e.g. 3 heads in a row), and an all-time max streak for heads and for tails.

Love the app. But really wish there was an option to choose the texts that shows for the coin flip. Instead of heads/tails, yes/no, do/don't.

The app is great for making decisions you don't know what to choose. The best part about this coin-flipping app is that it has no ads completely ad-free. However, it doesn't have all the coins types from different countries in the settings like why can't it have all the types? I wanted my country's coin in there. I wish the app has customizable coins we can make our own with colors and more. Developer, if you're reading this, pls add customizable coins

Useless app diagnostics says 50.03%heads and 49.97% tails. And also while flipping the coin the pattern was clearly visible that what will I get (head's / tails) pathetic!!
