I needed to determine the slope of my yard, and this made it incredibly easy. I simply laid a long garden stake down the slope and rested the edge of my phone on it. Exactly what I needed. So useful!

Lightly precisely. Measuring tangent of the angle is different from what the app is telling by 2~3 degrees in the low range (1~25 degrees). In my case, one cateti is 130 cm, the other one is 20 cm, the calculated angle is 8.74, the app is measuring 9 to 10 degrees.

Do not download, unless you are willing to also download an Accelerometer, and a Compass. I never used this app.
