★★★★★ When an audio file gets pulled in from Simple File Manager the Back button will go straight back to File Manager. This is nice, but if you repeatedly pick new files from File Manager it will eventually get hung and not let you change from the currently loaded file. Maybe it has something to do with super long files like podcasts, or that Music Player is designed around playlists. I'm not sure.

★★★★★ It's elegant in its simplicity and a very solid offline music app. I would prefer to be able to change the tab order and add artist images, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise great app.

★★★★★ This app is great for a general purpose, multi-functional music app for any phone that lacks a decent pre-installed one such as mine. The only gripe I have with it, is that the Shuffle option only shuffles everything once. By this, I mean that if you Shuffle, then disable and re-enable the option, the Shuffled playlist does not get shuffled again. There's only a Regular and Shuffled Playlist, no randomization past that.

★★☆☆☆ I used to like this app. I have several other Simple apps and they're great. But now I have to watch ads just to access the music files I own. I'm switching.

★★☆☆☆ This app has some intrusive ads when opening it or switching playlists and a $10 per week fee to remove them. The app also doesn't seem to work correctly if you have a DNS based ad-blocker on your network, so I don't know if it works correctly when you don't have a data connection and ads can't load. I like to ride my bike while listening to music, sometimes in rural areas, so this is a dealbreaker for me. I'd gladly pay $10 one time to remove ads, but $10 per week is just unreasonable.

★★☆☆☆ Not so "simple" anymore. This app, like every music player does, has gone to the crapper.
