I'm fortunate that in the area where I live many of the local footpaths are shown on OSM - they aren't all on Google Maps. With this app I can walk the footpaths and know exactly where I am, I can also navigate and plan routes. It's very fast, even on my cheap entry-level smartphone, and it's very simple and reliable to use. Excellent piece of software!

App acts exactly like viewing OSM on desktop. Shows footpaths, bridleways, tracks etc. (things which services like Google Maps lack) which makes it really useful for walks and cycle rides. It also caches places for offline use which is a plus

Simple and elegant OSM tile viewer. Does what it says. Would be nice to have the option of arbitrary XYZ tile source URL, so we can use alternate map sources (such as Thunder forest).

Display outside the screen... did not work on Kicka 5 plus 4G and is very slow to upload map.....!

Too basic. The absolute minimum is being able to set a target waypoint, plot a linear course line to it, and display the distance. And the compass cone of your phone (if it has a compass).
