Description
This is a very basic app. Designed for people who wants to use a search widget with their preferred search engine.
This app contains a search bar to type in a search query, which will be opened in the Internet browser. A widget for the home screen will simply start the app.
You can change the search engine in the settings (Default is DuckDuckGo) or type in a custom search string. The app also saves the search queries as a history.
Recent changes: * Fix export file format: Use fixed names independent from app version, previous exports are sadly incompatible now * Support receiving shared texts from other apps * Reworked the "Manage search engine" dialog

Does exactly what it says. This is a really good option if you want to have a widget for a non-google search engine on your home screen. It is also open-source, which is a huge plus.

I love simple search because it has the buttons that I want to click on like say either lie spoilers The Young and the restless spoilers do the hospital spoilers and the top it all off I need WWE because that is the important thing that I need that's why I have simple search, so I can search it to find out what's going on in WWE

It does not have any settings for what browser to open search results with but open default one without asking.

It doesn't work. Just opens a bunch of browser windows to Google or whatever, where you have to type in the search terms again.

This app uses Yandex, a Russian search engine. Why would you want to use a Russian search engine?!?
